I went to Humayun’s Tomb in August 2017 on the auspicious occasion of Eid with my friend. When we went for Tomb of Humayun we reached After one and half an hour. I took three tickets for 45 Rupees and went for exploring the tomb garden of Humayun and Now I am sharing my experience as well the brief history of Humayun’s Tomb.

Location - Opposite Dargah Nizamuddin, Mathura Road, New Delhi-110013
Entry cost - 30 Rupees for Indians and 200 Rupees for Foreigners
Opening Hours - Sunrise to Sunset (Open All Days)
Brief History of Tomb of Humayun
Humayun’s Tomb was built by Humayun’s Wife Bega Begaum in the memory of Humayun. Humayun was buried here. It was built with the combination of Red Sandstone and White Marble in 16th Century. People said It was inspired by tajmahal. This is the first garden tomb in Asia and world heritage too. Humayun’s Tomb architectural design was combination of Indian and Parsian. It is one of the best example of splendid architectural places in India ever.

Experience Inside the Tomb
As I told earlier that i am fond of visiting place. That is why I really enjoyed all the place very interestingly which looks closely similar to “Tajamahal“. Humayun’s Tomb consist many tomb like Isha Khan’s Tomb, Tomb
of Barber and Afsarwala Tomb. Nila Gumbad is also a attractive place in the campus of Tomb of Humayun.
I came here in the afternoon when the sunrise was on my head. The front of Humayun’s Tomb is so amazing in looking that is why i took many snapshots of front Humayun’s Tomb. It was very amazing experience to sit in the shadows of tree and i spends a few time with tomb garden.
In the end i recommend you to come here before afternoon or after 2:30 PM (Indian Standard Time).
